We won 3-1 when Albion were last here for League points on December 8, 2002. Christian Ziege gave us a 3rd minute lead which Robbie Keane extended on the half hour mark. Scott Dobie reduced the arrears in the 73rd minute and Gustavo Poyet rounded off the scoring ten minutes from time. The crowd figure was 35,958.
Albion’s last win here was by 3-2 on November 3, 1984. Their goals came from Nicky Cross, Steve Mackenzie and a Derek Statham penalty with John Chiedozie and Mickey Hazard replying for us.
