Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

WHILE RESIDENT Spurs freestyler Billy Wingrove was doing a few kicks, flicks and tricks in front of the camera with Robbie Keane last week, Scoop noted that a number of players - notably Fredi Kanoute - were particularly interested in the abilities of young Billy, but stayed well out of the way and watched from afar.

Most likely in case they got asked to join in! Fredi, however, wanted to know a few tricks of the trade and quietly summoned Billy for a few tips.

We wait with interest to discover whether Fredi brings any freestyle into his play on matchdays...

THERE CAN'T be many players in world football who have been 'bantered' more for their dress sense than our own Noureddine Naybet.

Scoop put it to Erik Edman that he was running the Moroccan close but the full-back was having none of it and refused to fall for the ruse. Check out any Q & A with our players and when the question of fashion comes up, the name Naybet is generally mentioned in the negative.

Sean Davis claimed last week that Naybet should be fined a week's wages for his clobber and we'll leave it to you to decide if he has a point.

The central defender himself defends his taste in fashion and puts it all down to experience.

"Dressing yourself is an art and it takes time to develop this kind of wisdom and experience..."

NEW BOY Andy Reid was pretty candid when asked whether arriving at a new club is a bit like the first day on graduating from middle to secondary school.

"It is a bit like that," he admitted. "You don't know too many people and everyone is introducing themselves, but is good for me that I have Robbie and Stephen Kelly to help me along."

Scoop enquired whether - continuing the first day of school theme - having Robbie about is like having a big brother in the third year.

"It is a bit, only he doesn't look after you and goes the opposite way and takes the mickey out of you!"

OUR ACADEMY has been a bit like a whole series of Casualty recently as the boys have picked up a number of knocks and bumps from their Youth Cup exploits.

Scoop wonders if some of the boys are just getting slightly too comfortable on the treatment table and preferring the warm to one of Pat Holland's lung-busting fitness sessions.

YOU CAN always rely on Scoop to get to the bottom of things. So why, Mr Mido, are you known as Mido?

"Mido has been my nickname since I was young, a family nickname from Egypt," revealed the loan signing from Roma. "All my family call me Mido because my name is Ahmed and, in Egypt there is 70 million people, with 40 million called Ahmed.

"My family chose to call me this, my trainers and then everybody started to call me Mido."

FINALLY, WHO is this young player hovering behind the bushes at Spurs Lodge?
