Paulinho in Brazil's World Cup squad

Paulinho has been named in hosts Brazil's 23-man squad for the World Cup Finals.

The midfielder has been capped 25 times by his country so far, scored five goals and helped Brazil win the FIFA Confederations Cup before joining us last summer.

Coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has until June 2 to make any changes - all teams have to name their final squads to FIFA no less than 10 days before the tournament opener.

Brazil kick-off the finals against Croatia in Sao Paolo on June 12.

The five-times world champions conclude preparations with friendlies against Panama on June 3 and Serbia on June 6.

Paulinho has scored seven goals in 36 appearances in all competitions for us this season.
