Paulinho helps Brazil hit Socceroos for six!

08 September 2013|Tottenham Hotspur

Paulinho played for 60 minutes as Brazil beat Australia 6-0 in a friendly in Brasilia on Saturday.

The midfielder tested Aussie goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer twice in the first half and was involved in the moves that led to his side's second and fourth goals.

He won a tackle that released Bernard to cross for Jo for 2-0 and then rolled the ball into the path of Dante, who crossed for Ramires to make it 4-0.

Paulinho made way for Hernanes on the hour. Brazil's goalscorers were Jo (2), Neymar, Ramires, Pato and Luis Gustavo.

The next action for our players on international duty follows on Monday night with Tom Carroll, Zeki Fryers and Harry Kane in the England U21 squad for the European Championship qualifier in Finland.
