Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Coach Pat Holland was a happy man at the Bescot Stadium on Tuesday night after our Academy side saw off the threat of Walsall and progressed to the next round of the FA Youth Cup.

The boys certainly put on a performance with both John Sutton and Lee Barnard bagging a brace. Dean Marney scored the other in a convincing 5-1 triumph.

"It was a nice result," beamed Pat. "It was pleasing to come here and put on a show. It wasn't an easy game, the Walsall boys were keyed up for it, but we got the early goal and that was the key to it. That settled us down and made it more difficult for them.

"I was pleased with one or two of them. John Sutton played very well, he's had a couple of performances that haven't gone his way but he was right on cue for it, so was young David Galbraith.

"They can come away from the game with good improvements in their game and that's what we're looking for - that the kids can bounce back from a little adversity in training or in games and go out and put on a show."

Pat also pointed out that Walsall's attacking formation called for a little something extra from all the boys.

"They played a 4-2-4 so everyone had to do a job, especially in midfield, because they were a little isolated.

"Both Ben Bowditch and Dean Marney worked very hard and it was a case of them winning their personal battles out there, which they did. All the goals were good goals, they played well and the boys can take soem strength from that."
