Partizan vs Spurs - team news

17 September 2014|Tottenham Hotspur

Roberto Soldado is back in the frame for our Europa League, Group C opener against Partizan Belgrade.

The striker has missed our last two fixtures with stiffness in his back and neck but has travelled out to Serbia and played a full part in training on Wednesday night.

“Roberto is okay, he’s fully fit and maybe tomorrow he will have the chance to play,” said Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino at Partizan Stadium.

Summer arrivals Michel Vorm, Federico Fazio and Benji Stambouli are all vying for a first start – Benji made his Premier League debut for us off the bench at Sunderland on Saturday.

Emmanuel Adebayor, Nacer Chadli, Mousa Dembele, Younes Kaboul and Danny Rose have remained in London. Meanwhile, Mauricio reported that Kyle Walker is recovering well after surgery.
