Palace 0-1 Spurs - Andre delighted for debutants

Andre Villas-Boas was full of praise for our debutants at Crystal Palace.
Nacer Chadli, Paulinho and Roberto Soldado all started as we kicked-off our Premier League campaign with a 1-0 win at Selhurst Park.
Etienne Capoue made it four debutants when he came off the bench for Mousa Dembele in the second half.
Roberto struck home the winner and his first Premier League goal from the penalty spot on 50 minutes after Dean Moxey handled Aaron Lennon’s cross.
“It’s not easy for them, especially bearing in mind the amount of time they’ve been together," said Andre. "Soldado and Paulinho arrived late (both appeared in the Confederations Cup) and Etienne has been with us just three days.
“They bonded well, responded well to each other’s play and it was a completely deserved win.
“It’s always difficult to go to Palace, especially on the first day of the season with that intensity and they all did excellently.
“It’s a good three points for us at an away ground and hopefully we can continue with this level of performance.”
