Tottenham and Everton return to Premiership action at White Hart Lane on Sunday a week after exiting the FA Cup at the first hurdle.
The Merseysiders suffered the embarrassment of a defeat at Third Division Shrewsbury while Spurs lost 4-0 at Southampton. So both teams will be keen to make amends to their supporters and aim for a win on Sunday.
Opta's statistics show that the Toffees have made challenges more frequently with David Moyes team attempting 682 tackles - the third highest tally in the Premiership - compared to the hosts' 675. Midfield dynamo Thomas Gravesen leads the way with 90 challenges so far this season.
However Gravesen will be unable to inspire Everton to their first league win at Tottenham in 18 years at the weekend as he is suspended along with David Weir and teenage sensation Wayne Rooney. Moyes may give debuts to his two loan signings American striker Brian McBride and Egyptian Ibrahim Said on Sunday.
Glenn Hoddle's men are four points behind Everton in the table and desperately need the points if they are to achieve their aim of qualifying for Europe by their league placing. They are more accurate in front of goal than their visitors, converting 13% of their shots compared to the Toffees 10% return, so that could help them in their quest.
In the absence of Rooney this match may not be too exciting for the neutrals and it is quite possible that these two teams could cancel each other out like they did on the opening day of the season.
