Not Town and out
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Glenn Hoddle is convinced Ipswich Town will turn the corner and avoid the dreaded drop from the Premiership.
Town have gone 15 games without a league win - they have just one all season - and are four points adrift at the bottom of the table.
But their attractive passing game, the football that catapulted them into fifth place and the UEFA Cup last season, is still intact and witnessed first hand by Glenn at Villa Park on Monday.
That game was typical of Town's recent run though. They played well, got in front but confidence looked hit for six when Villa levelled and the home side went on to win 2-1.
Glenn reported: "I went there Monday and this team is not a team that plays like it's at the bottom of the league.
"They played extremely well, came out of the traps quickly and got the early goal. Anyone watching who didn't know would have guessed that they were halfway up the table.
"If they keep playing like that they will turn the corner. Our job is to make sure they don't turn it this Saturday."
Most pundits have been mystified at Town's fall from grace this season but most agree that the loss of hitman Marcus Stewart it the telling factor.
Glenn agreed. "They are good team and they are not doing a lot different than they did last season. They are missing Marcus Stewart and that could be the bottom line of it.
"Their approach play has been excellent and Stewart was doing the business for them.
"If they start putting the ball in the back of the net with the chances they create they will get out of touble, no doubt. I was very impressed with them at Villa.
"There has to be reasons but it's not the style of football that is wrong and they aren't doing much different. I just think it's their finishing touch."
