Norwich U18s vs Spurs - Kieran's preview

Fri 28 November 2014, 14:31|Tottenham Hotspur

There’s little respite for our Under-18s as they face their third game in a week on Saturday, travelling to Norwich City for a 12pm kick-off.

A 4-2 home victory over the Canaries on the opening day of the season means we have a chance to complete a Barclays Under-18 Premier League double against the Norfolk side.

But Under-18s Coach Kieran McKenna, whose side beat West Ham United by the odd goal in seven on Wednesday afternoon, knows another tough test is in prospect.

And despite the short time between matches, he’s looking for improvement from his players in certain areas.

“Again it’s a quick turnaround between games,” he said. “We’ve not had a lot of time to train so it’s been a case of recovering after West Ham, looking at things that individually we could have done better on Wednesday and then hopefully putting them into practise on Saturday.

“We beat Norwich in the first game of the season and I thought they played good football. They came here and tried to play with possession and it was a good technical game, so hopefully it will be similar this weekend.”

We’ll have live updates from Saturday’s match at Norwich on Twitter @SpursOfficial, along with a full match report here on tottenhamhotspur.com afterwards.
