Non-League Day

Thu 04 September 2014, 10:00|Tottenham Hotspur

With no Premier League fixtures this weekend, the club would like to highlight 'Non-League Day' - encouraging fans to show their support for non-league teams in their area.

Set-up five years ago, Non-League Day is partnered with Prostate Cancer UK, the Official Charity Partner of The Football League, with many clubs holding fund raising events.

Teams local to the Tottenham area scheduled to play at home include Haringey Borough, Enfield Town and Cheshunt.

There are many more further afield - as the map at the top of the page illustrates.

Go to the map here - type in 'Tottenham' or your home town - and see what non-league teams are playing near you.

Look out for special events - for instance, Dulwich Hamlet have a 'pay what you like' entry fee - and many clubs are offering concessions for Premier League Season Ticket Holders.

Read more about Non-League Day at their official website, on Twitter and Facebook.

Don't forget, Spurs Ladies are also in action this weekend - they take on Charlton in the FA Women's Premier League South on Sunday, kick-off 2pm at Ware FC.
