Noe's still smiling
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Noe Pamarot is taking his first steps on the road to recovery after tearing his cruciate ligament at the start of the month.
The French defender suffered the damage to his right knee after taking an awkward fall against Birmingham City at St Andrews on April 2.
He has successfully undergone surgery to reconstruct the ligament and was back - smile on face, as always - at Spurs Lodge this week.
"The operation went well and now I'm feeling much better," said Noe. "It's all about rehabilitation now.
"First I have to work hard on my quad muscles - the muscles that keep the knee strong. So it's plenty of time in the gym for me!.
"It's a shame to miss the end of the season and I'll miss the beginning of next season as well but these things happen in football. At least it's happened when I'm still young rather than later in my career.
"You never know what's next in football and when things like this happen, you have to keep your head up and keep smiling."
