Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
John Gorman has insisted there is no crisis at the club and the target is very much still a place in Europe.
Our assistant manager responded to the negative reports in the media that have followed Monday night's 1-0 defeat at Bolton.
John pointed out that the players and management are all aiming towards the same goal and that they are as disappointed as fans when results don't go the right way.
He said: "It's rubbish what has been written in the newspapers and it's disappointing what these things can be turned into.
"To criticise the manager like this is totally out of order.
"We're all aiming towards the one goal and we are absolutely devastated when we don't get results.
"We're fans as well and we want the best for them and we've been so disappointed with the last few games.
"Against Liverpool we played well for an hour and went 1-0 up but it went wrong in the end and we were determined to put it right against Bolton. Kasey deserved a clean sheet, the defence battled hard and in the first half we played some good football and looked like ourselves again.
"If we'd have come away with a draw people would have talked about a battling point but because we lost the game by the odd goal, everyone wants to turn it into a crisis. It isn't.
"We all want to be in Europe. The home fans can get right behind us in the next game against Birmingham and if they do that, I'm sure the points will come.
"If we manage to win our next few games and get the points in the bag, all of a sudden we'll be back on course. There is no reason to say the season is over."
