Nicole’s Wembley surprise

10 November 2016|Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur Foundation’s Regional Participant of the Year, Nicole Littleton, was given a surprise at Wembley last week as Club legend Ledley King presented her with the award before kick-off at our Champions League match with Bayer Leverkusen.

Nicole arrived before the match for the presentation after scooping the award for her efforts volunteering with children since enrolling in the Foundation’s Premier League 4 Sport programme.

Nicole’s journey began when she attended free Premier League 4 Sport satellite tennis sessions in September, 2015, giving her new levels of confidence that resulted in her joining Bush Hill Park Tennis Club in Enfield, completing her Duke of Edinburgh Award and volunteering in leading sports activities for children.

The Premier League 4 Sport programme sees Tottenham Hotspur Foundation coaches deliver a range of sporting activities to young people in 22 satellite clubs at schools and community sports hubs across Haringey, Enfield, Barnet and Waltham Forest.
