Four NFL players visited Hotspur Way today as part of a promotional tour in the UK during their off-season.
Odell Beckham Jr. (NY Giants), Lawrence Okoye (San Francisco 49ers), Menelik Watson (Oakland Raiders) and Eric Wood (Buffalo Bills), spent the day filming video content for NFL platforms and were joined by Brad Friedel, DeAndre Yedlin and Emmanuel Adebayor, all keen gridiron fans.
Wide receiver Beckham Jr. is famed for what is widely regarded as one of the greatest catches in NFL history – an incredible one-handed effort against Dallas Cowboys during the past season, his rookie year.
Englishmen Okoye and Watson were both drafted to the league in 2013, with Watson receiving the honour of leading out his Raiders team at Wembley against Miami Dolphins last year, and Okoye representing Team GB in the discus throw at the London 2012 Olympics.
Wood, meanwhile, has played 79 games for the Bills as a center since being drafted by the New York outfit in 2009.
The group enjoyed showing off their soccer skills to our players, testing Brad in goal, with Beckham showing he has safe hands when it comes to plucking the round-shape ball out of the air as well!
