Nervous wait for Jacko
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Johnnie Jackson admits there will be a few nerves as he awaits news of team selection for tomorrow's game at Leeds United.
The 21-year-old has featured from the start in our last four games, three in left midfield before switching to left-back for Wednesday's win over Birmingham - due to the absence of Mauricio Taricco.
Taricco and Wednesday's fellow absentee Anthony Gardner will be available again for the Elland Road encounter, giving David Pleat a selection poser with Darren Anderton and Simon Davies having returned to the side in midweek.
Johnnie hopes that his impressive displays so far - including a direct assist for Simon's goal against the Blues - will serve him well, but concedes that a few butterflies will kick in before the side is named.
"Definitely, you don't know if you are going to play," confessed Jacko. "Being left-footed could be an advantage as, if the manager wants a left-footer then I'd be one of his only options.
"Darren Anderton has come back, Simon Davies has come back, Anthony Gardner will probably be fit - so Ledley could go back into midfield. It is going to be a difficult team to get in," he added, before revealing how the players generally find out if they are playing.
"Most of the time you get an idea on a Thursday or Friday in training of how the team is going to line up. Normally he will say what the team is then or sometimes on Saturday morning when you have a meeting. You have a pretty good idea.
"Hopefully I will be wearing the right colour bib in training!"
