All at the Club were saddened to learn of the recent passing of Nat Solomon.
It was during a period of financial turbulence at White Hart Lane during the early Nineties that led to the then Midland Bank taking on the financial running of the Club in the short term and appointing Nat Solomon to take up the role of Plc Chairman in January of 1991.
It was a job of love for Nat who, as a Spurs supporter all his life, ensured through his stewardship that the Club was kept in good shape before the majority share-holding was taken over by Alan Sugar in June of that year.
Nat subsequently became Club Vice-President and continued to be a regular in the Boardroom and Directors box through the next 25 years until ill health prohibited his attendance last season.
We extend condolences to the Solomon family at this sad time.
