Nacer Chadli is convinced he can 'show more' between now and the end of the season.
The Belgian international followed two near misses against Arsenal with two goals as we pushed Benfica all the way in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Trailing 3-1 from the first leg at the Lane and then 1-0 on the night, Nacer's quickfire double turned momentum our way with 10 minutes remaining at the Estadio da Luz.
One more goal would have taken the game into extra time and we had four chances, including a penalty shout turned away, before Benfica broke to put the issue beyond doubt with a penalty deep into added time.
Nacer's double took his goal tally to five in 28 appearances in all competitions and he's determined to finish the season in style.
"It’s always good to score but I would have preferred not to score and to have gone through, the team is more important than my goals," said Nacer.
"Of course, I’m hapy to score goals, it’s good for me and my confidence.
"I felt good against Arsenal, now I've played 90 minutes against Benfca, my fitness is getting better and I have to keep working hard but I know I can still show more.
"I feel good at the moment. I have to keep going and my strength will come with more minutes. My form will also come."
