Nacer Chadli scored one of the goals of the season when we played Stoke at White Hart Lane - but he admits it's all forgotten as we lost.
The Belgian star hammered home a first-time volley from an acute angle to bring us back into the game at 2-1 but an equaliser proved elusive as Mark Hughes’ men took the points back to the Potteries.
“Things like that don’t matter,” said the attacking midfielder, recalling his strike. “You forget goals when you don’t win. We lost at home that day and football is all about results.”
Nacer has since reached the double-figure mark in the Premier League - alongside Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen - and knows we’ll have to improve on our display that day at the Lane.
“We know we’ll have to play well to beat them but I’m confident,” he added. “We have played well away this season and we can win there, for sure, but we know it will be difficult.
“They are a strong unit, well-organised and they can play well on the counter-attack, with pace up front as well.
“We know we have to be careful but we will go to play our game and try to bring back the three points.”
