Nacer Chadli has underlined the importance of winning our home games ahead of Saturday’s match with Burnley.
Our last Premier League outing at White Hart Lane saw us draw 0-0 with Crystal Palace.
However, buoyed by Wednesday’s 4-0 win over Newcastle United in the Capital One Cup, attacking midfielder Nacer is targeting three points against the recently-promoted Clarets.
“Burnley have made life difficult for the teams they’ve played so far this year but for us, we have to win at home. It’s as simple as that,” said the Belgian international.
“I think they’ll probably play similarly to how Crystal Palace did a couple of weeks ago – they’ll be forceful and play on the counter.
“They will have confidence after their result against Southampton last week. They have shown that they can beat good teams but we have to remain very focused and play well because it’s an important game.”
