Nabil Bentaleb has thanked our senior players for the way they helped him settle into our first team squad this year.
The 19-year-old midfielder has made a swift transition into the senior picture after his elevation from our Development Squad last December.
Already in Algeria’s provisional squad for the World Cup this summer, the hard-working youngster is looking ahead with genuine optimism as we prepare for the 2014-15 campaign.
And in the wake of his breakthrough season, he insists the input of our senior players has aided him in making the step up to top level football.
“It’s a very good feeling to be involved in the first team squad,” enthused Nabil.
“Once I came into the team everyone took care of me and I think that’s a big part of how things went for me personally.
“Everyone encouraged me, big players like Michael Dawson, and it’s people like that who helped me feel comfortable on the Premier League stage in front of thousands and thousands of fans.”
