Nabil eyes Eagles

Nabil Bentaleb turned his attentions to Crystal Palace before he’d trudged out of Stamford Bridge.

The young midfielder put in another impressive display up against Cesc Fabregas and Nemanja Matic as we slipped to a 3-0 defeat against Chelsea.

The scoreline didn’t tell the whole story as we started the game well - Harry Kane struck the crossbar and whistled a shot just wide before a quickfire double from the unbeaten Premier League leaders left us 2-0 down and with a mountain to climb.

Nabil was everywhere as we had the lion’s share of possession in the second half but clinical Chelsea grabbed a third through Loic Remy.

“We started well and had some chances but unfortunately we didn’t take them,” reflected Nabil.

“It was difficult at 2-0 but we just tried to keep playing. I think we produced some good moments but we didn’t manage to score.

“That’s football, sometimes it goes well, sometimes it goes against you but the important thing is you keep your head up at all times.

“We’ll go back to the training round, work hard and we have another game to prepare for now against Palace on Saturday.

“It’s all about Palace now. We had a good win against Everton, didn’t win tonight and now it’s about picking our heads up and working hard for the next game.”
