Mousa's a joy - Jan

Jan Vertonghen described Mousa Dembele as ‘a joy to play with’ after his performance against Liverpool.
Mousa returned from a six weeks’ injury absence to star in Saturday’s goalless draw against the Reds at the Lane.
Employed centrally alongside Dele Alli, Mousa was outstanding with his ability to twist and turn away from opponents a highlight in a game where space was at a premium.
The Belgian international also produced the tackle of the match as Divock Origi threatended to break through centrally in the second half.

“I spoke to Mousa during the week because we had injuries and suspensions and I thought he might have a chance to play,” said Jan.
“He might be one of the best midfielders in the Premier League and everyone agrees on that.
“It’s a joy to play with him and a nightmare to play against him. I was playing some difficult balls into him and wanted to say sorry but he turns them around. He’s an unbelievable player.
“I just hope he can stay fit because that’s the main thing with Mousa. He worked hard to come back and I hope that he stays fit now for the rest of the season.”

Jan described it as a ‘typical Premier League game’ as Jurgen Klopp took charge of Liverpool for the first time – and felt we deserved to win.
He added: “It was up and down, lots of pressing, high tempo, lots of energy from both teams.
“We faced a strong side but if you look at the highlights we could have scored three or four goals but we didn’t.
“Mignolet was outstanding for Liverpool. I’ve known him for a couple of years now and he’s always been a good goalkeeper and you could see that today, unfortunately for us.”
