Mousa hails Hugo after Fulham triumph

Mousa Dembele joined many of his outfield colleagues by heaping praise on Hugo Lloris after Saturday’s win against Fulham.

Our French international number one was once again in excellent form between the sticks, his performance typified when he dived to his right to beat away Steve Sidwell’s spot kick 13 minutes from the end.

That save kept the score at 3-1 in our favour and Mousa, who stepped off the bench to bolster our central midfield ranks in the second half, was full of praise for Hugo afterwards.

“He’s unbelievable,” Mousa declared. “He’s one of the best goalkeepers I know and it’s a pleasure to work with him.

“He made some great saves against Fulham and contributed to our overall performance.

“We’re all happy with the result as we played very well.”
