Mousa Dembele says the players believe in their ability to take another three points away from Asteras Tripolis on Thursday.
We face the Greek side at the Theodoros Kolokotronis Stadium a fortnight after inflicting a 5-1 defeat on them at White Hart Lane – maintaining our unbeaten start in Group C of the Europa League in the process.
As we prepare for the return meeting on Matchday Four, midfielder Mousa expects a much closer affair with Asteras having home advantage – although he insists the squad remain confident of adding to our current total of five points in the group.
“It’s always a different game away from home but we have the confidence to go there and win,” said the Belgian international.
“It won’t be the same as last time and it won’t be an easy game, but we need to go there looking for another three points.
“We have a big squad with good players and we know that we can strengthen our position in the group with victory. It’s important for us to stay in the Europa League by doing well in the group.”
