On-loan Will Miller was Burton Albion’s stoppage-time hero on Saturday.
The young attacker stepped off the bench for his second appearance in the Championship with 77 minutes remaining and his side trailing 1-0 at Wolves.
And he was in the box when it mattered no less than four minutes into time added on, turning in Lloyd Dyer's cross to net his first senior goal in dramatic fashion.
There was a landmark appearance for another of our young players elsewhere on Saturday as goalkeeper Luke McGee was handed his senior debut at Peterborough United.
The stopper started and played the full 90 minutes as the Posh battled out a 2-2 draw at home to Port Vale. Luke’s fellow loanee Nathan Oduwa was an unused substitute for the hosts.
In Germany, Nabil Bentaleb played 90 minutes for FC Schalke 04 as they lost 2-0 at home to Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga.
