20 August 2015|Tottenham Hotspur

Defender Dominic Ball made his debut for Rangers on Wednesday night, starting alongside Nathan Oduwa as Mark Warburton’s side won 2-0 at Ayr United in the Scottish Challenge Cup.

Both players completed the full 90 minutes, with Nathan making his second appearance after going on as a substitute in last weekend’s Scottish Championship victory over Alloa Athletic.

On-loan striker Shaq Coulthirst was also in action on Wednesday evening, stepping off the bench for Wigan Athletic 73 minutes into their 3-0 home win over Scunthorpe United in League One.

On Tuesday night, Grant Ward was on the bench for Rotherham United as they drew 0-0 at home to Preston North End in the Championship while Connor Ogilvie was an unused substitute for Stevenage in their 3-0 League Two defeat at Leyton Orient.
