Midweek loan watch

11 December 2013|Tottenham Hotspur

Alex Pritchard kept his cool from 12 yards to help Swindon Town reach the southern area final of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy in a dramatic penalty shootout on Tuesday night.

Alex started for the Robins alongside Grant Hall and Ryan Mason as they played host to Stevenage.

But after the game ended 1-1, penalties were required to decide the winner, with Alex netting Swindon’s first spot kick on the way to a 3-1 shootout victory.

Alex – who had struck the crossbar during the game – and Grant played the full game, while Ryan was substituted mid-way through the second half.

On Monday, Jake Livermore played 90 minutes for Hull City as they drew 1-1 at Swansea City in the Premier League.
