Mido's tip

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Mido believes we have a 'big chance' of overcoming Chelsea at the Lane this afternoon and picking up the three points at home for the first time since August 1987.

The last time we beat the Blues in the league was at Stamford Bridge in February 1990 but, of course, there was a certain 5-1 cup game in January 2002.

The striker feels the team are in good nick following our unbeaten start to the season - along with the fact we have yet to concede a goal. Neither have Chelsea so, unless the game finishes 0-0, something has to give.

"Jose Mourinho is a good manager and they have great players," reasoned Mido, who opened his account for the season against Middlesbrough last week. "I think we have a big chance, they are a good team, but I think we do have a very good chance of winning because we are a very organised team.

"We are playing at home in front of our supporters and I am confident Chelsea will lose their first game of the season at White Hart Lane."

In order to protect any entries in our 'goals against' column, the team must guard against the threat of a player well known to Mido. He partnered Didier Drogba in attack during his time at Marseille and Mido suspects the Ivory Coast international will realise his full potential in his second season in English football.

"I set him up ten times in that season - ask him!" quipped the ever-modest Mido. "He is a great player and a very good guy, he is very strong, dangerous and knows how to score. Our defenders must be very strong against him and I really enjoyed playing with him at Marseille.

"I think he was stronger at Marseille but, don't forget, he only arrived in London at the beginning of last season and the first season is always difficult. I know Didier and I know he can do much better."
