Mauricio's 'fantastic' year
01 January 2016|Tottenham Hotspur
Mauricio Pochettino enjoyed a 'fantastic' 2015.
The year started with a memorable win against Chelsea on New Year's Day and ended on a dramatic winning note at Watford, where Heung-Min Son's 90th-minute goal took us up to third place in the Premier League for 24 hours.
In-between, there have been many highs and a few lows - most notably reaching but then losing out in the League Cup Final at Wembley - but we certainly step into 2016 with much to look forward to.
"I’ve enjoyed the year a lot," said Mauricio, now preparing for Sunday's Premier League clash at Everton. "It was a fantastic 2015 and we hope the new year brings us a lot of good things.
"When you analyse 2015 it was great for the club and for us personally. I’m very happy. We tried to enjoy every single moment.
"It’s true there were some tough periods but also many good things. It’s difficult to pick out just one, we had so many."

Going back to the spectacular 5-3 win against eventual-champions Chelsea on New Year's Day, Mauricio added: "It was a good way to start the year and a very good result for the belief of the players, especially the young players.
"But we don't refer back too much - we don't like to look to the past."
