Mauricio: "What more can I say about Dele?"

Mauricio Pochettino is running out of superlatives for Dele Alli.

The young midfielder is on a goal-den run of form with seven goals in his last four matches in the Premier League.

He has scored two goals in each of his last three games including a double to sink leaders Chelsea in a fantastic team show on Wednesday night. Dele struck identical goals from Christian Eriksen’s pinpoint deliveries.

Those goals took him to 10 already in the Premier League - matching his tally from last season.

“There is nothing else to say!” said Mauricio on Dele. “He talks on the pitch. He was fantastic, brilliant. He’s young with big potential to improve. What more can I say?

“He’s showing a big talent. The goals were similar, and fantastic. Dele in front of goal was great.”

The win ended Chelsea’s impressive winning streak in the Premier League at 13, stretched our run to five on the trot and lifted us into third.

“It was important to reduce the gap (to Chelsea), it’s very competitive but it was perfect for us to arrive into third place and to be close. That’s important for us,” added Mauricio.
