Spurs U19s 1-1 Fulham
Our Under-19s pounded away at Fulham without their just rewards - they then had Nicky Eyre to thank for a point.
Pat Holland's lads dominated and had the chances to add to Mark Yeates' fine equaliser.
But they were almost caught out in the final minutes as a Fulham breakaway led to a superb save from Eyre, making his debut at U19 level.
Coach Pat reflected: "We went behind after three minutes from a corner kick that we didn't defend very well but after that I thought we played quite well and created three or four very good chances.
"At half-time we came in playing well but a goal behind and it was a case of continuing what we were doing and hopefully the goal would come.
"We pulled a goal back on the hour, a good run by Mark Yeates, ran at the player, came inside and hit a left-foot shot, a good individual goal.
"We then created more good chances but couldn't get the second goal.
"The travesty would have been with five minutes to go they've gone through and Nicky Eyre's made a terrific save. From dominating we could have lost it.
"I was pleased for Nicky on his debut, that was a great save and his general handling was good.
"From a performance point of view I was pleased as well but we've got to put some of these chances away."
