FA PREMIER ACADEMY LEAGUE

Ipswich Town U19s 0-2 Spurs

Coach Pat Holland was a happy man after Saturday's fine win in Suffolk.

"We played some good stuff," said Pat. "I was pleased with the result but the performance was good as well."

After a goalless first half Mark Hughes broke the deadlock with a fine strike on the hour.

Michael Malcolm sealed it when he sprinted onto Phil Ifil's fine pass, skipped around the goalkeeper and finished well from an acute angle.

Spurs U19s: Burch, Perry (Ifil, 70), Galbraith, Tyrie, Foster, O'Donoghue, Hughes, Malcolm, Slabber, Yeates, Black (Barnett, 65). Unused subs: Noto, Rutherford.
