Charlton U17s 2-4 Spurs
Jimmy Neighbour's young side came from behind twice to grab the points in style against Charlton.
The lads were always on top but conceded a poor goal defensively just before half-time to go in 1-0 down.
Scott Thyer (pictured) produced a fine equaliser but another mistake let in Charlton for 2-1 before goals from Charlie Lee, Claude Seanla and the prolific Danny Stevens saw the youngsters home.
Coach Jim takes up the story of the game. "It wasn't a great game but credit to the lads because we went 1-0 down at half-time to a poor goal, we more or less gave them that.
"We had most of the chances, played with the wind and just about denied them any chances apart from the goal.
"We were against the wind in the second half and I thought that might be a problem but it wasn't. In fact it helped us.
"Our attacking play was good, created chances and equalised through Scott Thyer, a great run down the left, cut inside and shot into the roof of the net.
"Unfortunately we made another poor error after that as Charlton went 2-1.
"We then got a penalty for handball, Charlie Lee finished it and after that it was about how many we would score, we looked likely every time we attacked.
"We went ahead through Claude Seanla, he broke through the middle and tucked it home and Danny Stevens finished it off. That's about nine or 10 for him this season."
