Andros Townsend’s goal in our 3-2 victory over Swansea City has been named by fans as our Goal of the Month for March.
With the team 2-1 up at White Hart Lane on March 4, the England international picked up the ball in our half and sprinted down the left touchline before cutting in and finishing from an acute angle.
That effort was the clear winner of March’s Goal of the Month poll, taking 43.8 per cent of fans’ votes here on tottenhamhotspur.com and on our official Twitter and Facebook platforms.
Our first goal that night – a cushioned effort from Nacer Chadli – was the runner-up in the poll with 17 per cent of the vote.
