Luke feels at home
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Luke Young says he feels part of the furniture again with England Under-21s.
Our ever-impressive defender won his seventh cap in Friday’s impressive European Championship qualifying win against Finland and is expected to add to his tally against Albania on Tuesday.
Team-mate Ledley King should also start if he has recovered from the dead leg that forced him off at half-time at Barnsley.
Luke said: “I got injured when I thought I might have a chance of starting the season in the Under-21 side. I’ve come back in now, I feel fit and feel part of the set up again.
“I’ve been in for a little while now and it’s great to be involved.
“I’m not sure what the conditions will be like out in Albania, the pitch, the stadium, so it was doubly important we got that against Finland win because we hadn’t really got started in the group before that.”
The 21-year-old admits he enjoys the break from the Premiership from time to time.
“It’s nice to get away to get away from the league format,” he added. “There is less pressure. Day to day in the league pressure get increase at you approach matches, especially when they come thick and fast, so it’s nice to get away from it.”
