Luka looking positive
Luka Modric says we'll take a positive frame of mind to Manchester City on Sunday.
The midfielder has been in fine form of late and looking forward to the huge clash at the top end of the Premier League.
On target in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Wolves, Luka insisted that result 'wasn't the end of the world' as we extended our run to one defeat in 19 league matches.
City are deservedly perched on top of the table after playing some thrilling football this season.
Roberto Mancini's men have been untouchable at home so far with 10 wins out of 10, scoring 31 goals and conceding just four.
Our last two visits to the Etihad Stadium have decided the clubs' Champions League fate.
Peter Crouch header guaranteed fourth place for us back in May, 2010 but, in a twist of fate, the same player's own goal secured City the win they needed to qualify for Europe's elite competition in May, 2011.
Now it's a first versus third encounter at a key point of the campaign, just over the half-way mark.
"It’s a great game," said Luka. "In the last two seasons we’ve played in massive games there.
"I hope we’ll do well and maybe win.
"Why not? We will go there in a positive frame of mind and try to win. We do that against every opponent."
