Loan watch - Tuesday reverse for Jake

07 May 2014|Tottenham Hotspur

Jake Livermore made a fleeting appearance for Hull City in their 3-1 defeat at Manchester United on Tuesday evening.

Our on-loan midfielder stepped off the bench with eight minutes remaining at Old Trafford, but was unable to help Steve Bruce’s side salvage anything from the game.

Ryan Fredericks helped Millwall secure a precious win as they made sure of their Championship survival over the weekend.

Our on-loan right-back stepped off the bench in the closing moments of the Lions’ 1-0 win at home to Bournemouth, helping his side keep a clean sheet and, in doing so, cement their spot in the Championship for next season.

Jon Obika also saw action in the same division, playing a key part in the build-up to Charlton Athletic’s second goal in their 3-0 triumph at Blackpool. He went on as a substitute with 12 minutes of normal time remaining.

Tom Carroll, meanwhile, was an unused substitute for Queens Park Rangers in their 3-2 win at Barnsley.

In the Premier League, Jake Livermore played the full game for Hull City in their 3-1 reverse at Aston Villa while Lewis Holtby played 34 minutes for Fulham in their 4-1 defeat at Stoke.

On Friday, Yago Falque played 90 minutes for Rayo Vallecano as they lost 3-0 at home to Athletic Club in Spain’s La Liga.

Cristian Ceballos was an unused substitute for FC Arouca as they won 1-0 at home to Gil Vicente in Portugal.
