Loan watch: Pritchard strikes
28 August 2013|Tottenham Hotspur
It has been another busy week for our loanees around the country.
Alex Pritchard was on the scoresheet for Swindon as they knocked QPR out of the Capital One Cup at Loftus Road on Tuesday.
Our midfielder picked up a loose pass from Clint Hill and rifled the ball home after a counter-attack to build on Swindon's 2-2 draw in League One against Gillingham at the weekend, a fixture in which Pritchard also played the full 90 minutes.
Massimo Luongo and Grant Hall also played 90 minutes in both games, with Ryan Mason featuring off the bench.
Hull picked up their first win in this season's Premier League, with Jake Livermore playing the entire match as Steve Bruce's team secured a 1-0 victory despite playing with 10 men for 70 minutes after Sagbo's sending off.
After being an unused substitute in Derby's 3-0 win at Yeovil in the Championship at the weekend, Adam Smith started and played 90 minutes in the Rams' 5-0 Capital One Cup win over Brentford and Tuesday.
And finally, Bongani Khumalo was part of the Doncaster team winning 3-1 at Charlton before the game was called off due to a waterlogged pitch at the weekend. The defender featured again in Rovers' 3-1 loss against Leeds in the Capital One Cup.
