Loan watch - praise for Dominic

Dominic Ball stepped up to fill a midfield void for Rangers in their 1-0 home win over Falkirk on Saturday.
Our on-loan defender was drafted back into the starting line-up in the middle of the park with Jason Holt and Andy Halliday absent through injury and suspension respectively.
And after putting in a full 90-minute shift in the Scottish Championship contest, he earned high praise from Rangers boss Mark Warburton.
“He’s been asked to play out of position. I thought he did a tremendous job in there,” Warburton told Rangers’ official website.
“He knew the emphasis that would be on him and there was a big crowd in a very important game and for a young player to respond in that manner speaks volumes for him. We’re delighted with him and the role that he played for the team and he had a key part in us winning the three points.”
Elsewhere on Saturday, left-back Connor Ogilvie played 90 minutes for Stevenage in their 2-1 defeat at York City in League Two, while midfielder Grant Ward was ever-present for Rotherham United as they suffered a 4-1 home defeat at the hands of Charlton Athletic in the Championship.
