Loan watch - point for Ryan

Ryan Fredericks helped Millwall claim a vital point in their Championship survival battle at the weekend.

Our on-loan right-back played 90 minutes for the Lions, who looked to have snatched a 2-1 win with two minutes of normal time left – only for Blackburn to level in stoppage time.

Elsewhere in the Championship, Benoit Assou-Ekotto returned to the QPR side alongside Spurs colleague Tom Carroll for their home match against Blackpool. Both played 90 minutes as the game ended 1-1.

Jon Obika also played the full game for Charlton Athletic, but the Addicks were on the wrong end of a 3-0 scoreline at Derby County.

In the Premier League, Jake Livermore’s Hull City lost 1-0 at Stoke City, while Lewis Holtby’s Fulham suffered a 3-1 reverse against Everton.

Meanwhile, in League Two, Shaq Coulthirst made his Torquay United debut after joining the Gulls on loan last week. He came on for the last half-an-hour of his side’s 1-0 defeat at Southend United.

In Portugal, Cristian Ceballos helped FC Arouca register a 1-0 win at home to Vitoria Setubal but there was no such luck for Yago Falque in Spain – his Rayo Vallecano side slumping to a 5-0 defeat at Real Madrid.
