Loan watch - midweek update

02 October 2013|Tottenham Hotspur

Adam Smith played his part as Derby County, under the watchful eye of new boss Steve McClaren, stormed back from 4-1 down to earn a point from a 4-4 draw against Ipswich Town in the Championship on Tuesday evening.

Our on-loan right-back played the full game, as the Rams staged a second half recovery, having been 4-1 down at the interval.

McClaren was appointed as the successor to Nigel Clough this week.

There was to be no such comeback for Bongani Khumalo and Doncaster Rovers, though, as they slumped to a 2-0 defeat at home to Burnley.
