The international break meant it was a quiet week for our loanees.
The only player to see action over the weekend was Jordan Archer, who was in goal for Northampton Town as they lost 2-1 at Cambridge United in League Two on Friday night.
Jordan made a good stop to deny Cambridge’s Robbie Simpson in the first half, but the hosts went on to secure the points.
Elsewhere in League Two, Shaq Coulthirst was an unused substitute for Southend United in their 1-0 win at home to Hartlepool United on Saturday, while Tomislav Gomelt sat in reserve for Italian side Bari as they lost 3-0 at Crotone in Serie B.
Meanwhile, Kenny McEvoy has been recalled from his loan spell at Peterborough United having scored once in eight appearances for the League One side.
MIDWEEK UPDATE
Jordan was back in action for Northampton Town on Tuesday night, as his side lost 2-1 at Rochdale in an FA Cup first round replay.
Leading from the fourth minute, the Cobblers appeared to be on their way through to the second round – only for two goals in the last five minutes to send them crashing out.
