Alex Pritchard returned to action for Swindon Town, his side slipping to a 2-1 defeat at home to MK Dons in League One. Alex was involved in the build-up to Swindon’s goal in the first period, his initial shot being saved by Dons goalkeeper David Martin before Michael Smith netted from the rebound.
Two of our young goalkeepers got game time under their belts for non-league sides at the weekend, Jonathan Miles making his debut for Skrill Conference South side Whitehawk in their 2-1 defeat at Weston-super-Mare while Luke McGee was between the sticks for Harlow Town in their 1-0 reverse at Waltham Forest in the Ryman League.
In overseas action, Cristian Ceballos played 90 minutes for Portuguese side FC Arouca in their 4-1 defeat at Porto, while Yago Falque will hope to be in action for Rayo Vallecano in Spain’s La Liga tonight (Monday) as they visit Real Sociedad.
