In Germany, Lewis Holtby played the full game for Hamburg as they held Bayern Munich to a goalless Bundesliga draw while, in America, Grant Ward’s Chicago Fire also shared the spoils as they drew 3-3 at home to DC United – the midfielder starting the MLS contest before being replaced on 63 minutes.
