Loan watch - debut for Kenny, win for Rangers lads
28 September 2015|Tottenham Hotspur
Kenny McEvoy made his debut as a second half substitute for Stevenage on Saturday.
The winger was introduced off the bench in the 71st minute of Boro’s trip to Cambridge United in League Two, but the afternoon ended in heartbreak for his side after the hosts scored in the seventh minute of stoppage time to condemn Teddy Sheringham’s men to a 1-0 defeat.
It was a happier weekend for our lads on loan at Rangers, though, as Mark Warburton’s outfit secured a 4-0 win at Greenock Morton in the Scottish Championship on Sunday.
Nathan Oduwa won the penalty which led to Rangers’ opening goal in the 12th minute – the attacking midfielder going on to complete the full game – while defender Dominic Ball was an unused substitute.
Elsewhere, Grant Ward was back in action for Rotherham United on Saturday. The midfielder went on as a substitute for the final nine minutes of his side’s match at Birmingham City and helped them see out a 2-0 victory.
DeAndre Yedlin, meanwhile, was an unused substitute for Sunderland in their 3-0 Premier League defeat at Manchester United on Saturday.
