Loan watch - Cup cheer for Connor

Connor Ogilvie marked his return to the Stevenage side after injury by helping Teddy Sheringham’s men pull off an FA Cup first round victory over higher-ranked Gillingham on Saturday.
Our on-loan left-back went straight back into Boro’s starting line-up following a couple of weeks on the sidelines and completed the full game as the League Two side toppled their League One opponents – themselves managed by a legendary former Spurs player in Justin Edinburgh – 3-0 at the Lamex Stadium.
Dominic Ball and Nathan Oduwa also tasted victory on Saturday as they helped Rangers breeze past Alloa Athletic 4-0 in the Scottish Championship at Ibrox. Dominic was ever-present at the back, while attacker Nathan joined him in the starting line-up before being withdrawn on 62 minutes.
In the Premier League, DeAndre Yedlin completed 90 minutes at right-back for Sunderland in their 1-0 defeat at home to Southampton while, in the Championship, midfielder Grant Ward did likewise for Rotherham United – also claiming the assist for the Millers’ second goal – as they slumped to a 5-2 home defeat at the hands of Ipswich Town.
