Alex Pritchard rescued a point for Swindon Town at Bradford City on another busy weekend for our loanees.
Alex, who started for the Robins on Sunday alongside on-loan Spurs colleague Grant Hall, roamed through the home side’s defence before hitting the back of the net with a left-footed shot to bring his side level in the second half. The match finished 1-1.
Grant was withdrawn eight minutes into the second half, while Ryan Mason was an unused substitute.
In the Championship, Simon Dawkins was involved in the build-up to Derby County’s first goal on their way to a 2-1 win at Barnsley. Simon was withdrawn from the action with 17 minutes remaining, by which time the Rams were already 2-1 up.
Meanwhile, Tom Carroll played 71 minutes and Benoit Assou-Ekotto the full 90 as Queens Park Rangers battled out a goalless draw at Watford.
On Saturday, Lawrence Vigouroux was again between the sticks for Hyde FC in the Skrill Conference Premier, but it was another negative result for the Tigers as Wrexham beat them 5-2.
Saturday also saw a handful of Premier League games, with Jake Livemore helping to pull the strings in the centre of Hull City’s midfield as Steve Bruce’s men romped to a 6-0 win over Fulham.
Jake, whose pass set up George Boyd to fire home the hosts’ third of the afternoon, was withdrawn with 73 minutes on the watch.
