Loan watch

27 December 2013|Tottenham Hotspur

Ryan Mason was on target for Swindon Town on a busy Boxing Day for our loanees.

Ryan fired in Swindon’s opener as they travelled to Brentford in League One, while on-loan Spurs colleague Alex Pritchard had a hand in the Robins’ second goal in what turned out to be a 3-2 defeat – Alex’s deflected shot was turned in by Nicky Ajose.

Defender Grant Hall played the full 90 minutes at Griffin Park, along with Ryan and Alex.

In the Championship, Simon Dawkins was in action for Derby County as they drew 1-1 at Huddersfield Town. Our on-loan striker played for 71 minutes before being withdrawn.

Elsewhere, Tom Carroll went close to scoring for Queens Park Rangers at Nottingham Forest – but the R’s were ultimately unable to find the net and slipped to a 2-0 defeat. Tom played the full game, along with left-back Benoit Assou-Ekotto.

Jake Livermore played 90 minutes for Hull City in the Premier League, as the KC Stadium-based club contrived to throw away a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 at home to Manchester United.

In the Skrill Conference Premier, Lawrence Vigouroux’s Hyde lost 3-0 at Macclesfield Town.
