Alex Pritchard was in action for West Bromwich Albion against Norwich City during a busy weekend for our loanees.
The attacking midfielder was brought on as a substitute on 73 minutes as the Baggies tried to peg their visitors back on Saturday, with the Canaries having earlier taken a 1-0 lead. There was to be no further addition to the scoreline, though, and Norwich claimed maximum points from the Premier League contest.
DeAndre Yedlin was also in top flight action – the right-back played 90 minutes for Sunderland as they battled out a 1-1 draw with north-east rivals Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Sunday.
In the Championship on Saturday, Grant Ward played the full game in midfield for Rotherham United as they won 1-0 at Ipswich Town although there was disappointment for Dominic Ball and his Rangers side on Friday night as they surrendered a two-goal lead in the last 18 minutes to lose 3-2 at Falkirk in the Scottish Championship. Defender Dominic played the whole match.
Sunday’s action in Spain saw Federico Fazio named as a substitute for Sevilla in their 4-0 La Liga defeat at Real Madrid.
Last Tuesday evening, young striker Ryan Loft was on the bench for Braintree Town as they were held 0-0 at home by Gateshead in the Vanarama National League.
